Adult Choirs

Three choirs of the Music Ministry target adults.

St. Luke's Choir

The purpose of the St. Luke's Choir is to lead music in worship, to develop worship and music skills in choristers and ringers, to teach a love of singing the music of the church, and to encourage the development of faith in Jesus Christ. This choir is the cornerstone of music leadership for the more traditional 11:15 Sunday worship service, Christmas, Holy Week, Easter and other special services.  In March, these men and women will perform a major choral work to celebrate the season of Lent. Open to High School through Adult singers.

Rehearsals:  Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:30pm

BEGINS SEPTEMBER 4

Requiem Choir

The purpose of the Requiem Choir is to lead the singing of hymns at funerals. There are no rehearsals. Men and women join with members of the St. Luke’s Choir in the choir room fifteen minutes prior to a funeral service. Open to all singers.

Ring & Rejoice Handbells

The purpose of the Ring & Rejoice Handbells is to develop the art of ringing handbells and to enrich worship at the 8:45 and 11:15 Sunday worship services.
