Patrick Carroll

Pat casually asked a youth leader over Christmas if they knew of any needy family that could use another Christmas gift. He happened to have a Rock Band for Playstation 2 he had never opened. The leader did know a family, a single mom with two kids, trying to start life over in Bluffton. They had recently moved from Texas and had no furniture until some St. Luke's Parishioners got involved and helped them out. This seemed to be the perfect family to give it to BUT they needed to have a Playstation 2 to play this game on. As God would have it they already had this game system!

The leader picked up Pat and the Playstation 2 and together they took it to this lady at her job. She was able to meet Patrick and thank him personally.

He asks about the kids often and soon we will get them together so he can meet them.

Souper Bowl

Some of the Middle and High youth group that are also members of the Order of the Jr. Daughters of the King are planning to be a part of a national charity fundraiser called "The Souper Bowl." They will meet on Super Bowl Sunday, in Coligny Plaza, from 3:30 to 5:30, Sunday, February 1.  With soup bowls in hand they will collect money for their favorite charity. which is yet to be decided.
