Children and Family Ministries

Jean graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Christian Education and Fine Arts and then pursued a Masters Degree in Educational Ministries, also from Wheaton College. Her career path led her through various positions where she used her gifts and talents and honed her skills as communicator, instructor, and administrator. She has prepared and instructed both graduate and undergraduate level courses at Wheaton College, worked at summer residential camps, directed youth ministries at the Parish level, and worked as an Editorial Art Director for a publishing company. Then God called her to ordained ministry and she attended Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA and was ordained in 2005 by Bishop Duncan.

Following her ordination, she was the Assistant Rector at The Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh, with her focus on Pastoral Care. Jean accepted the call to come to St Luke’s and began her ministry with us in January 2008.
