BMOC
Being Men of Christ (BMOC) provides an excellent way for men of the congregation to meet and get to know one another in a friendly, social atmosphere. In so doing, men are encouraged to become more active members of the congregation, which is a vital need for the health of any church. The flagship BMOC event of the year has been its annual Christmas dinner and Preschool fundraiser. This year, this event will be held on Saturday, December 3 and will include a social hour, dinner catered by the St. Luke’s Hog Heaven Barbecue Team, several short skits by the St. Luke’s Players, and a silent and live auction with outstanding auction items up for bid. This is an evening you don’t want to miss for a great cause!

In March 2023, BMOC will once again begin monthly dinners on the first Monday of each month, which will include personal testimonies from congregation members and exciting talks by various town dignitaries, sports figures, and Christian leaders.

If you are a man of the congregation, we invite you to get involved in BMOC. For more information, please contact the BMOC board chairman, Len Zimmerman at his email address: lzimmerman62648@gmail.com or by cell phone: 864-303-5408.

Intercessory Prayer Group

Meetings have resumed!
Prayer needs or a desire to participate in the prayer chain may be communicated in any of these ways:
  • Email Susie Galloway at  susiegalloway@roadrunner.com
  •  Call Susie Galloway at (843) 715-0582.
The Intercessory Prayer group meets each week from 11 to 12 p.m. each Wednesday in the Prayer Room, just after the 10:00 service. We gladly welcome anyone who wants to come to pray with us during this hour.
The hour is spent together in prayer for the church clergy and staff, church services, families, leaders, youth, children, missionaries, those in the military, and any special requests that we have received. Special prayer concerns are then mailed out to the intercessory prayer chain for daily prayer during the following week.
