Kairos Prison Ministries
KAIROS Prison Ministries introduces residents of the Allendale Correctional Institute to the Christian belief, including belief in Jesus Christ. On the first Tuesday of each month, men from St. Luke's travel to the Allendale Correctional Institute to share in our faith with Christ. Our goal is to develop new Christians and to help sustain the prison through small group interest and activity.
Every 6 months, in early May and November, we introduce between 30 to 36 men to KAIROS through a program called a Walk with Christ, culminating with asking each to accept a cross symbolizing the acceptance of Christ and Christian values through membership into the ranks of KAIROS membership.
Women may also participate every six months by helping with four-day weekend to bring in new members.
