Lay Readers & Chalice Bearers
The lay readers and chalice bearers are an integral part of the worship service. They assist the clergy during worship services through Scripture reading and by leading in the reading of various portions of the liturgy, including the Nicene Creed and of the Prayers of the People. This ministry involves lay people in each worship service and makes it more participatory by the members of our congregation.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild assists the clergy by preparing the altar with wafers and wine for Holy Communion. Weekly preparation begins on Saturday morning and is completed shortly before the Sunday morning worship services. Our volunteers also hang paraments on the altar, lectern, and pulpit with colors that coordinate with the church season. Occasionally, members of the Altar Guild make preparations for Holy Communion when requested to do so for weddings and funerals. Contact Elizabeth Glick 843-301-3313 email: elizabethglick07@gmail.com

The Flower Guild decorates the altar each Sunday.
