The Episcopal Church (TEC) filed a lawsuit in Federal Court naming Bishop Lawrence as the defendant.  It seeks to avoid our South Carolina State Court by claiming the issue is one of federal trademark infringement. Click here for the Diocese's press release concerning the matter. (3.13.2013)
